About Road Trip Planning
Route optimization built with purpose — supporting the sacred tradition of Padhramani.
Divine Santos regularly visit followers — a cherished tradition known as Padhramani — travelling to homes and offices to offer personal blessings and maintain a deep spiritual connection with each member of the community.
Planning these visits requires more than a simple list of addresses. Each Padhramani schedule must account for the optimal travel sequence across multiple stops and provide reliable time estimates so every follower on the schedule can be reached without delay.
This application was created to meet exactly that need — automatically computing the most efficient driving route across all scheduled stops, so the focus can remain on the visit itself rather than the logistics behind it.
- Enter up to 15 addresses — the first is always the starting point, the last is always the final destination.
- The nearest-neighbor algorithm automatically reorders all middle stops to minimise total driving distance.
- Real drive times are fetched from Google Directions API for accurate time estimates at every leg of the journey.
- The full route opens directly in Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation on any device.
- The optimised route can be exported as JSON for record-keeping or integration with other tools.
This application is a living tool — built to serve the Padhramani process today and designed to grow as we learn more about the full scheduling workflow. Future enhancements will be driven directly by the needs of those who use it on the ground.
